In addition to AiLing Yang Blalock, President of AiLing Hua Foundation, a group of
people is now being recruited in Southern China to manage and operate the Children's
Home. AiLing Hua is also supported by a Board of Directors that consists of
individuals with strong business skills who are also passionate about the children of
China.
AiLing Yang Blalock is a graduate of Sichuan University in
Chengdu. She served as a translator and interpreter while
residing in China. After moving to the United States in the
year 2000, AiLing was credentialed as a preschool teacher at
Durham Technical Community College. She currently is
teaching Chinese as a second language at Raleigh Academy
of Chinese Language (RACL) in Raleigh, North Carolina and
was a preschool teacher at LaPetite Academy. She was
granted the award of "Teacher of Excellence" at RACL in the
year 2007. AiLing is an avid swimmer and a lover of people.
She is especially passionate about China and China's
children. Over the past few years she and her husband have
made several trips to China, most recently in 2009. In 2006
she hosted a tour to Beijing and Hong Kong.
Frank Blalock has been an entrepreneur in several
professions in the past twenty-five years. He has also owned
and operated a system built housing company in Goldsboro,
North Carolina. He is currently a licensed realtor in Raleigh,
North Carolina and owns and operates his own real estate
company.
